Whether wishing to lose weight, maintain weight or even increase weight (by increasing lean muscle tissue) the primary aim of a weight management program will be to develop a sustainable lifestyle - incorporating appropriate exercise and eating habits - that achieves and subsequently maintains the desired weight related goals resulting in a healthy and active individual. As with all worthwhile endeavours there is no 'quick-fix' to Weight Management and, as with other health and fitness related goals, a Personal Trainer should be looking to develop a program of exercise and education that is appropriate to the client and enjoyable whilst remaining effective.
